![]() In general at the champion level stuns, bleeds and blights will need a bit of help to stick on the enemy, even if your skills are maxed out. Buzz sawing through the frontline of the enemy is only a viable if corpses are off, and even then against a champion Collector I can see where it'd be tricky (this isn't to say the Leper is useless - I rather like his damage sponge abilities and ability to actually kill things. The Leper has limited range, and I agree that was the problem here. I did get pretty lucky near the end, both my lepers were insane from the show collection spam and were bleeding on deaths door, they delayed retreat twice but I managed to get both of them out alive, I also saved my unique trinkets and came home with 3 trapos, only thing I hate is that I'm gonna have to train up and invest in a new PD if I want to get that caretaker goal finished. Strokes of bad luck do happen and it happened a bit in the collector fight, but for the most part if you play it right you can recover, I couldnt, simply because how useless my PD was. Fact is that the plague doctor didnt really help and despite the damage buff from emboldening vapors I probably would've easily mowed the collector down with double arbalests and marked for death. It was a pretty unlucky fight, collector was consistenty healing because of the vestal and life drain, at one point he was on 2 hp with blight and then right before his turn vestal healed him and he life stealed back up to 40. ![]() I must've mowed down so many of the collectors minions, He was constantly summoning highwaymen, only once did he summon a vestal and man at arms head. Trinkets were unique ones like crescendo box and the rare heads that buff damage a ton, didnt even go over 30 stress on any of my guys so I was pretty prepped for the entire run, everyone was fully upgraded, skills were 1 level downgraded since my guild is 1 from being maxed. Nah, didnt use his stun or blight at all until collector popped up, I was using him to buff my lepers with emboldening vapors so they basically were 1 hitting anything even with high prot. On another topic it seems the best solution to beating champion dungeons is to just have an all out damage team, trying to control with stuns, moving skills or applying bleeds/blight (Aside from bossfights) is a waste of time and just gives the enemy more turns to pour stress and damage onto you It's like rolling loaded dice because the enemy have an absurd amount of resistances denying you any chance at applying a strategy to any fight outside of a hits b because b is weaker than c. Plague doctor is now right next to vestal as the only two classes I'm just not going to waste my time using now, cost me one of my arbalests because I bothered to take him off the dusted shelf. Collector fight lasted 15 rounds before I retreated after I lost my arbalest and doctor, had I brought another damage dealer like my other champion arbalest it would've been a different story almost killed that damn collector three times but he would just keep spamming lifesteal and getting healed and due to the damage drop off from my plague doctors presence I just couldnt finish him. Doctor was useless, couldnt land a stun, couldnt land a single blight even with a buffing trinket. ![]() ![]() Did a boss run for necromancer lord with 2 lepers, 1 arbalest and the plague doctor in the middle, was owning it up until a collector attacked right before the boss room as I was about to camp, despite that everyone was pretty much full hp. Seems to be the case, everything in champion ruins has 55%+ blight resistance and a high enough stun resistance to make the doctor more useless than the vestal.
